TUBEPOL — Rehabilitación de infraestructura hidráulica
A photograph of a city street construction site shows a worker in the center with a white hard hat and a yellow safety vest over a gray shirt and gloves, standing next to a large yellow water pump on the street. Thick black rubber tubes are connected to the pump and extend in both directions along the asphalt. In the background on the left are a gray car, orange safety cones, and an orange and white fence. In the background on the right is another person with a white hard hat and a yellow safety vest handling a black tube that extends behind a truck that says "TUBEPOL". City houses with light orange, light pink, and light blue walls form the background.
Trenchless technology

Bypass Pumping

Worksite bypass and emergency pumping. 24/7 availability.

Bypass pumping service with TUBEPOL's own fleet: centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, and pneumatic plugs. 24/7 operation supporting trenchless projects, flood emergencies, and network maintenance.

The Bypass Pumping service consists of the controlled diversion and management of flow within pipe networks through pumping equipment and pneumatic plugs. It is a key capability in trenchless rehabilitation projects —where it enables dry work without service interruption— and also a stand-alone solution for emergencies, scheduled maintenance, and civil works requiring temporary hydraulic control.

How it works:

For a worksite bypass, pneumatic plugs are placed in the manholes upstream and downstream of the pipe section being rehabilitated, isolating it from the rest of the network. Using centrifugal or submersible pumps, flow is diverted through hoses or bypass pipes to an operational section of the network, ensuring service continuity. For emergencies or dewatering, the necessary equipment is deployed on-site and controlled pumping begins until the critical condition is resolved.

Why TUBEPOL:

We operate our own pumping fleet —including centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, and pneumatic plugs in multiple diameters— and our personnel are trained to handle emergencies 24/7, 365 days a year. We don't subcontract: all work is executed with TUBEPOL equipment, which allows us to deploy quickly and maintain full control over operational quality and safety.

We apply this capability as integral support for our rehabilitation technologies —CIPP, geopolymer mortar, Fold-and-Form— and also offer it as a stand-alone service for water utilities, industrial parks, civil works projects, and response to rainfall events, floods, or critical contingencies.
